U.S. Navy established Naval Support Activity Stirling in Western Australia on May 30, 2026, as part of AUKUS trilateral security pact. NSA Stirling will support Submarine Rotational Force-West with U.S. and British nuclear-powered submarines rotating through HMAS Stirling near Perth. Expected full operational status in 2027, with first personnel arriving late 2026.
