In 2022, MitchelLake was commissioned to deliver an executive search for Fintech CPO (Chief Product Officer) for Spenmo, an APAC-based Series B scale-up experiencing rapid growth.
Spenmo provides a consolidated payments, data, and reporting platform that helps businesses manage multi-currency expense claims, bill payments, and corporate card activities. In just two years, Spenmo expanded more than 800%, growing from a team of 26 in 2019 to over 250 employees by 2022.
As a late-series fintech venture in hypergrowth, Spenmo was building out a world-class leadership team. A critical appointment in this journey was a Chief Product Officer with the muscle memory to scale product culture, strategy, and execution across international markets.
