The related signals in the 90-day window are almost entirely from outside the energy sector, which means comparable infrastructure-scale renewable completions are sparse in the current dataset. That said, METLEN's first-fire milestone at Protos and LiTime's storage showcase point to a broader pattern of large-scale clean-energy assets crossing from development into operations across multiple geographies. SunZia is the largest single wind project among them by a significant margin, which makes it something of an outlier in the current window rather than a representative data point in a cluster. Companies operating at this scale of renewable infrastructure consistently face intensifying demand in three functional areas: real-time grid operations and scheduling, commercial leadership capable of managing long-tenor power purchase agreements under live delivery pressure, and regulatory affairs capacity across FERC, NERC, and state commission relationships. The market for operators with experience managing gigawatt-scale wind dispatch is demonstrably thin; most comparable credentials sit inside utilities rather than independent developers.
