That is a substantively different operational posture: crews are now working inside a digital coordination layer governed by hospital data systems they previously had no live interface with, and the decision logic for patient destination has shifted from protocol-driven field judgment toward data-supported triage conducted in partnership with the Digital Coordination Centre. The organisation has accepted a new dependency on data infrastructure it does not own or control, which changes both its operational risk profile and the integration demands placed on its clinical and technology leadership.
