NHS England is rolling out an AI triage tool in the NHS App to direct patients to appropriate services (GP, pharmacy, A&E, community care) before they contact clinicians. The tool will reach 200,000+ patients in the next year and become available to all NHS App users by April 2028. Additionally, AI note-taking tools are being deployed across the NHS to auto-generate clinical notes, freeing clinician time.
