Companies building AI-native developer tooling at this stage, particularly outside established hubs, face concentrated demand in two functional areas: deep product engineering leadership capable of compressing the gap between research capability and developer-facing product, and commercial or ecosystem partnership leadership that can build a studio pipeline before the platform has brand recognition to do it passively.
